Truffle Hunting: A Luxurious Adventure in Nature
Experience the magic of finding truffles in Spain

The most mysterious ingredient in haute cuisine? The black truffle. It’s considered a true luxury — something that costs a small fortune. But is that really the whole story?

Let’s find out by going truffle hunting — with the help of a trained dog. Why a dog and not a pig? Well, there’s a very good reason… and I’ll be happy to tell you all about it!

Truffle hunting experience

Today, I’m a Myth Buster: Let’s Talk Truffles Honestly. In my no-show-off experience, you’ll discover that truffles are not just a luxury product reserved for the elite.

We’ll meet local truffle farmers who will share all the fascinating details about this mysterious delicacy:

  • Who first discovered black truffles?
  • How and where do they grow in Spain?
  • Are they really that expensive?
  • And how are they used in gastronomy?

Of course, we’ll round off the day with a rustic countryside lunch, featuring a variety of delicious truffle-infused dishes.

This is a visit to a place where people live simple, honest lives, and what you’ll experience is 100% real — no tourist traps, no faking, no fluff.

During the truffle hunting experience, you’ll also have the chance to buy real black truffles and truffle-based products at local village prices.

*The truffle hunting season starts in late December and ends in March.

We’re about to spend a day in nature, at a place with spectacular views.
Specially trained dogs will help us sniff out this aromatic treasure, and you’re welcome to join in the digging with them or simply watch the magic happen.
